Teacher of the Year 2023

On Tuesday, 5 March, the Teacher of the Year 2023 award ceremony took place. The opening speech at the event was delivered by the Rector of Prague University of Economics and Business Petr Dvořák, who, among other things, handed over the titles to the winners from among the teachers themselves. The evaluation was based on data from student evaluations, thanks to which it is easy to discover which VŠE teachers are successful. Students used them to evaluate educators based on their qualifications, expertise, preparedness, clarity of explanation and ability to answer students’ questions.  

Three educators were nominated from each faculty. The Rector of Prague University of Economics and Business then presented the title of Educator of the Year 2023 to the winner from each faculty. At the same time, he thanked all the educators for their commitment to the education of young ecomomics students.

• Ing. Jitka Speciánová, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Economics 
• PhDr. Jan Závodný Pospíšil, PhD. from the Faculty of Management
