VŠE Golf Tour 2024

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, the third annual VŠE Golf Tour, organized by the VŠE Event Center in collaboration with the VŠE Alumni Center, took place. This year’s event was held at the modern grounds of Golf Resort Black Bridge.

Unlike last year, when only alumni could participate in the VŠE Golf Tour, this year saw the addition of students, employees, partners, and friends of the Prague University of Economics and Business.

The day consisted of both a golf tournament for players with a green card and a golf academy where beginners could learn the basics of the sport under the guidance of professional trainers. Novice golfers could practice basic strokes on the driving range and learn the principles of chipping and putting. There was also an introduction to golf rules and the various sections of the course.

The rector of the Prague University of Economics and Business also attended the VŠE Golf Tour this year. At the end of the golf-filled day, he awarded prizes to the winners and participants of the golf academy. Every participant also received a souvenir in the form of a limited-edition golf ball made especially for this tournament.

This year’s event saw a record number of participants in both the golf tournament and the academy. The VŠE Golf Tour provided our participants with the opportunity to network and meet not only other alumni and students of VŠE. Information boards with interesting facts about VŠE were also presented in the area, so in addition to the popular game, the players could learn interesting information about their alma mater.

We believe that everyone found something enjoyable at the VŠE Golf Tour and had a day full of golf fun. For those who couldn’t make it to this year’s event, we look forward to seeing you next year.
