Best exhibitors of the autumn Job Fair ŠANCE 2023!
Between October 24th and 26th, 2023, another edition of the Job Fair ŠANCE took place at VŠE. Dozens of companies and institutions presented themselves at the university during this event. Visitors of the fair could vote for the TOP exhibiting company or institution.
All visitors of the fair had the opportunity to vote for the best exhibitor, however, it was mandatory to vote for those who were interested in participating in the competition for visitors. An anonymous questionnaire was used for evaluation, which was available in both Czech and English to allow international students to participate.
The main criteria for evaluation were the booth’s appearance, the overall impression of the booth visit, and the friendliness of the exhibitors. Visitors voted for the TOP company or institution, and their votes were subsequently counted and evaluated for each day. We are pleased to announce the winners for each day of the fair.
If you have become one of the winners, please accept our warmest congratulations. We would like to provide you the feedback from the students, which you might appreciate, in the following summary.
The winners are as follows:
- Tuesday, October 24, 2023: PwC Czech Republic, KPMG Czech Republic, EY
- Wednesday, October 25, 2023: Notino, L’Oréal, BAT
- Thursday, October 26, 2023: Alliance Abroad, BTL Medical Development, Rohlík.cz
Tuesday
On Tuesday, the top-rated exhibiting company was PwC, praised by students for their friendly approach and warm interaction. They even enhanced their presentation with Angelato ice cream served to their booth visitors. Positions in various fields were offered, including roles in auditing, marketing, and consulting.
KPMG secured the second position with their approachable representatives and their willingness to answer all questions. Students were offered job positions, especially in auditing, taxation, consulting, and HR.
EY took third place, with visitors being impressed by the pleasant communication with their representatives, who were very accommodating and offered opportunities in auditing and business consulting.
Wednesday
The first place for Wednesday’s fair was occupied by Notino, who also provided professional photography and makeup services for students’ CVs and LinkedIn profiles. Visitors could also get an overview of job positions offered by Notino, primarily in marketing, finance, HR, and IT. Notino’s representatives were commended for their friendliness, nice approach, and openness to questions.
L’Oréal secured the second place for their pleasant and professional behavior, willingness, and friendliness. Positions in marketing, finance, and logistics were offered, often in the form of trainee positions and internships. They also had a special activity prepared for students – an entertainment machine.
BAT earned the third position due to their friendly and helpful representatives. Prospective employees received information about positions in marketing, sales, data analytics, and consulting.
Thursday
We congratulate Alliance Abroad for their excellent presentation on the third day of the fair, as they secured first place. Students appreciated the friendly and personal approach of their representatives, who were energetic and helpful. The company primarily offered summer internships, work and travel programs, and summer camps.
BTL Medical Development earned second place, with their representatives also being approachable and willing to answer all student inquiries. Students received offers for positions mainly in marketing and IT.
The third place was awarded to Rohlík.cz for their warm and communicative presentation, explaining everything necessary. Students received offers for positions in logistics, finance, and data analytics.
