2022 Teacher of the Year Award

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the Rector of the Prague University of Economics and Business, Petr Dvořák, met with the best teachers of the university for the year 2022, who were awarded the title 2022 Teacher of the Year at the Vencovský club.

The VŠE has given this award since 2019, but this year, for the first time, data from student evaluations were used, in which students evaluated teachers in terms of their qualifications, expertise, preparedness, clarity of explanation, and ability to answer students’ questions.

Three best teachers were selected for each faculty, and the winners were announced by the Rector at the ceremonial event. Rector Petr Dvořák thanked the winners and the nominees for their outstanding work in the field of education and innovation and wished them many more achievements and talented students to teach.

For the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Ing. Jan Molín, Ph.D., received the award, which he has now won for the fourth time. For the Faculty of International Relations, doc. Zuzana Stuchlíková was awarded Teacher of the Year for the second time. PhDr. Marcela Palíšková, Ph.D. was selected for the Faculty of Business Administration, and Ing. Filip Vencovský, Ph.D. received the award for the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. For the Faculty of Economics Prof. PhDr. Martin Kovář, Ph.D. was awarded, and last but not least, doc. Ing. Tomáš Kincl, Ph.D. received the award for the Faculty of Management.
