Alumni & Corporate Relations (ACR) is developing and working on improving our services, both for cooperating companies and students. That is why we bring you a summary of the current developments in Alumni & Corporate Relations.

From July 2022, the Event Centre is in charge of all events that are organised at the VŠE or in which the VŠE is involved in any way. This has noticeably increased the number of events that the Event Centre is responsible for, so in order to increase automation, an online form has been created on the Event Centre website for complete booking. This makes the organisation of all events easier for both parties.

The Career Centre is currently preparing the next edition of the Job Fair ŠANCE, which will be held from 18-20 October 2022. More than 100 companies from all different fields will again be exhibiting at the fair. Along with the upcoming start of the winter semester, the centre is also preparing Career Workshops, which will again be provided to students from external career advisors and counselors on key career development topics. In June 2022, the Career Centre also launched the long-planned VŠE Career Portal, which provides students with access to current job offers and offers an overview of career events, along with an easier registration option. This provides companies with a new option for effective advertising.

During the summer months, the Partnership Centre concluded an agreement with Kaufland, which became the Main Partner of the VŠE, and with Profinit and Adastra as new Partners of the VŠE.

The Alumni Centre will continue to organise further lectures in the winter semester 2022 as part of the Alumni Wednesdays project. The first lecture will be held in the first week of the semester, on 21 September, on the topic “Strategies for success not only in business”, led by a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration, Simona Kijonková. The Alumni Centre also presented a new edition of the Summer Newsletter, which contains the most interesting events at VŠE in the past summer semester 2022.
